In a series of large-format images I dealt with the dichotomy of nature and artificiality, which I staged using tinsel curtains (superficially festive shiny for hazardous waste disposable products) in the forest. The images are inspired by the technique of airbrushing and graffiti, which one encounters not only on quarantine forays through the streets of the city everywhere on house walls. My goal was not to paint a hyper realistic painting, but to create a slightly diffusePictorial space in which the darkness of the forest and the trees together with the actually completely contradictory and out of place glittering tinsel curtain quietly moved by the wind play a tantalizing game of confusion with light and darkness. For me, moreover, the relatively elaborate work represented a discovery of new skills in dealing with color and material.
